Formula One’s sole American squad, the Haas F1 Team has become the last team to confirm its launch date just three weeks before the pre-season testing gets underway in Bahrain.

The Kannapolis-based team has revealed that its new car is set to be unveiled on March 4. The team will present its 2021 F1 challenger, the VF-21 in an online launch that will begin at 8 GMT.

Haas is among the teams that have gone through significant changes ahead of the 2021 F1 season. The Günther Steiner-led outfit will field a new driver line-up after the departure of Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen. Ferrari protégé Mick Schumacher is set to make his debut at the pinnacle of motorsport after clinching the championship title last year in the FIA F2 series.

The 21-year-old will be joined at the team by fellow rookie Nikita Mazepin. The Russian also competed in the F2 series with Hitech Grand Prix team last year, finishing fifth at the end of the season.

In the meantime, Aston Martin has revealed that its 2021 F1 car will be called the AMR21. The Silverstone-based Racing Point team has been rebranded to Aston Martin Racing for 2021 with the British luxury car manufacturer set to make its return to Formula One after six decades.

Aston Martin participated in the 1959 and 1960 F1 season, but that was a rather difficult campaign for them as they failed to score any championship points. The name of their new car presents a departure from the previous pattern as their 1960 machinery was called DBR5, named after then-team owner David Brown.
