Verstappen explains remarkably calm reaction after losing in Bahrain

Where until three weeks ago all teammates always sat next to each other in the press conference, that has changed from Imola on. Max Verstappen sat next to Mick Schumacher and not Sergio Perez. "Hopefully this time it's the other way around in terms of finishing order," Verstappen kicked off in the press conference. "It was [in Bahrain] a positive weekend, but a bit disappointed with the result. Last year we were pretty competitive here and it's really nice to drive here. Hopefully the car will be competitive again, I see no reason why it shouldn't be."

Verstappen remains calm

The fact that Red Bull Racing has a competitive car from the first race this season makes preparation for the upcoming races a lot easier, according to Verstappen. One of the journalists also noticed that the Dutchman was remarkably calm after the disappointing race in Bahrain. Is that also because he knows how good the car is?

"But I've always been super calm," Verstappen said, laughing. "There's no point in throwing or smashing things. If this counts as a bad result, then I'm looking forward to what the rest of the season brings. There are 22 races left where we can do better," the ten-time Grand Prix winner concluded.
