The Spanish Grand Prix is not known for being a race with a lot of spectacle. A lot has to happen in the first lap, because overtaking is very difficult on the Spanish circuit. The weather conditions don't help much in Barcelona either, as the race is always held in the spring and the sun is often present.

The same goes for today and so the chance of rain is minimal. It is set to be a sunny day, with temparatures in and around 20 degrees and it could reach as high as 22. Today there is a maximum 24 percent chance of rain, at two o'clock.

No rain, no wind.

Despite the sun shining over the Circuit de Catalunya, drivers can expect some winds however, it isn't supposed to be as windy as Portimao was last time out.

Update 14:35 | Rain in Barcelona?

Although the forecast was for it to remain dry, the drivers are now reporting raindrops hanging over the track and rain is also falling on the track. Lando Norris, among others, reports on the radio that it is raining very lightly at some points. If the rain does fall, it will only be in the opening stages. In any case, it will make for more difficult conditions.
