Stoffel Vandoorne looked set to win the second Formula E race in London but was forced to retire after a collision with Oliver Rowland and action by Lucas di Grassi. The driver was very angry with his fellow drivers afterwards.

The former Formula 1 driver actually had a good feeling during the race. "I feel pretty s**t, to be honest. This just hurts a lot," he stated in conversation with Motorsport.com. "I was driving in the lead of the race and had everything under control. Then there was that thing with Di Grassi, which was a bit confusing at first. But that honestly didn't affect what happened next, the incident with Ollie (Rowland, ed.)."

Vandoorne argues that Formula E certainly didn't advertise itself. "It all came across quite amateurish. There were pieces of bodywork everywhere on the track. It looked like we were driving bumper cars."

De Vries on top in world championship

Nyck de Vries took the lead in the world championship after the race weekend in London. Right behind him is compatriot Robin Frijns, six points behind. Stoffel Vandoorne is in thirteenth place with 63 points.
