Alfa Romeo to welcome fans in a race booth in Budapest

The Alfa Romeo Racing team will give its fans a special reward, bringing a special Booth to the Hungarian Grand Prix in which supporters will be able to see one of Alfa Romeo’s F1 cars.

The Hungarian Grand Prix is set to bring the first half of the 2021 F1 season to an end, but before the field can enjoy its summer holiday, drivers will need to perform perfectly on the twisty, unforgiving old-school circuit.

Nestled in the hills outside Budapest, squeezed between a motorway and a water park, this circuit is a throwback to a different time: Monaco without the walls, they said; a test of mental and physical strength for the drivers, who have no real place to rest as they churn lap after lap of this undulating layout – all while tackling the boiling temperatures in the cockpit.

The Hungarian round is usually attended by many Polish fans. Although there is currently no Polish driver in F1, fans from Poland will still have something to cheer about as Robert Kubica will step into Kimi Räikkönen’s car in the first practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Providing Polish fans with an extra reward, Alfa Romeo will launch a dedicated activity Booth which will be located in the popular Silver Fan Zone. It will be open all day between Friday and Sunday and will heavily feature fan-favourite, Robert Kubica, with the Pole joining fans for exclusive Zoom meet & greet sessions.

Furthermore, fans will be able to witness a range of team equipment, memorabilia, as well as life-sized cut-outs of Robert for fans to pose with, with the best selection of team merchandise in the whole circuit also on offer.
