Jack Aitken, Williams reserve driver, is one of four drivers that have been transferred to the Spa medical centre following an accident in the 24-hour race. Aitken is on his way to hospital, but hasn't got any life-threatening injuries.

The Brit was involved in the collision at the summit of Eau Rouge along with Davide Rigon, Franck Perera and Kévin Estre. All four drivers, as mentioned prior, have been transferred to the circuit medical centre.

It has just been reported by the race events Twitter that Estre is okay, has left the medical centre and has returned to Team Tutronik Racing.

Estre is okay

Minutes ago it has been confirmed by the race director that Rigon and Aitken have been taken to the hospital but have sustained no life-threatening injuries. Perera and Estre are alright.

The race in Belgium has since restarted. Aitken and Rigon are also going to the hospital for the necessary checks. Neither of them suffered any life-threatening injuries. Warning: Nasty crash
