How to watch the 2021 F1 Dutch Grand Prix

After a controversial event in Belgium, the Formula 1 circus has travelled to the Netherlands for the return of the Dutch Grand Prix.

F1 has not raced at Zandvoort since 1985, when Niki Lauda took his final victory in F1. On that day, Lauda beat his great rival Alain Prost by just two-tenths of a second.

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen will be eager to become the latest winner of the Dutch GP with just three points separating the championship protagonists in the title race.

A Dutch driver has never won at Zandvoort, so Verstappen would love to put that right in front of 70,000 fans on Sunday.

Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez could be in the mix at the front, too, whilst Ferrari and McLaren are set to resume their battle for third place in the Constructors' Championship this weekend.

When is the 2021 Dutch GP?*

Friday sees the usual practice schedule of two 60-minute sessions. FP1 will take place on Friday morning at 10:30 UK time, with FP2 following in the afternoon at 14:00.

Heading into Saturday, there is another hour of practice with FP3 at 11:00 before qualifying at 14:00, when the all-important pole position will be up for grabs

This will determine the grid for Sunday's Dutch Grand Prix, which takes place at 14:00.

How can I watch the 2021 Dutch Grand Prix?

In the United Kingdom, the Dutch Grand Prix will air live and exclusively on Sky Sports F1. Coverage of the race will begin at 12:30 BST/13:30 CET with the likes of Martin Brundle, Damon Hill, Nico Rosberg, Karun Chandhok and Paul Di Resta at the venue.

Race highlights will be shown on Channel 4 on Sunday evening. The programme airs at 18:30 BST with commentary from Alex Jacques and David Coulthard.
