Since his serious accident in 2013, there has been a lot of silence around Michael Schumacher. Only a handful of people have seen him a few times or are allowed to see him, but not many updates come out otherwise. Next week, however, the documentary about Schumacher on Netflix comes online, and in it, Corinna, Michael's wife, gives an update.

"Everyone misses Michael, but Michael is here. Different, but here. He still shows me every day how strong he is," Schumacher's wife said in the Netflix documentary on Schumacher, cited by The Irish Times.

Schumacher taken care of in Geneva

That's been the case for a while, and isn't going to change for a while. His wife and family, Corinna says, are often with him while the German receives care.

"We are together. We live at home together. We're doing therapy. We do everything we can to make Michael better and to make sure he's comfortable. And to just make him feel like our family, our bond. And whatever happens, I'll do everything I can. We all will. We try to carry on as a family, the way Michael loved and still does. And we're moving on with our lives."

So for now, little has changed for the German, who has been in his current situation since his accident in 2013. Care continues and will continue for as long as it is needed.
