The battle between Mercedes and Red Bull Racing is intense. Both the drivers' and constructors' championships are still up for grabs. That the tensions between team bosses Christian Horner and Toto Wolff are rising, is no surprise to the latter.

The differences between the teams and between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton are particularly small. The drivers fight it out on the track, but the team bosses fight it out in the media. Horner and Wolff are sniping at each other. According to the Austrian this is not so strange. The fierce title fight leaves no room for love between the two teams.

Wolff sees no harm in arguing with Horner

It's being played hard against hard, but Wolff is staying cool. The team boss is quoted as saying Speedweek "I don't feel any positive or negative emotions about this. I'm neutral about it and I don't feel any extra pressure because of these circumstances. As team boss I obviously want to defend my drivers and my team. Then sometimes some emotion comes into play."

Wolff is also brief about the fight with Horner. There is simply no time or space for friendship in this title fight: "The rivalry between Mercedes and Red Bull is simply too big. You can't expect someone to have dinner with someone from the other team. It's quite normal to see it like that."
