Max Verstappen says he's "feeling calm" ahead of this weekend's Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, where he could become World Champion. Verstappen, who leads Lewis Hamilton by eight points with two races remaining, can win the title if results go his way. The most likely scenario in which Verstappen can clinch the championship is by winning the race, with Hamilton finishing seventh or lower. "I'm feeling calm," said Verstappen. "I know that I will always try to do the best that I can and we'll just find out where we are going to end up. "Nothing has been decided yet and we are all up for the challenge. There's still a lot of racing left to do and we are going to give it our all, that's for sure. It's going to be an exciting end to the season."
"No room for error" in Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Arabian GP is another new event on the F1 calendar, with a challenging street track awaiting the drivers. With an anticipated average speed of more than 250km/h, the Jeddah Corniche Circuit will be the second-fastest on this year's F1 schedule. Verstappen will be looking to stop Hamilton's winning run this weekend, and says there will be "no room for error". "I've driven the track on the simulator and it seems like a really fast track, so there's no room for error," added Verstappen. "Of course, there will always be a bit of guess work as we haven't driven on the track there yet. It's going to be interesting and I'm looking forward to the challenge. It's been fun to go to different tracks again this year."
