Rosberg impressed with talented driver: 'Awesome peaks'

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton were not the only two drivers who stood out in a positive way last season. Lando Norris, especially in the first half of the season, also made a good impression. Nico Rosberg was impressed by the Brit.

The former Formula One driver was surprised at how Norris was able to compete with Verstappen and Hamilton before the summer. Although both drivers were still the faster of the field, the two top drivers repeatedly failed to get past the McLaren driver. In the second half of the season, Norris was unable to maintain the high level, but he could certainly be satisfied with the season.

Rosberg enjoyed the qualities of Norris and expects a lot from him next season. As the regulations in Formula 1 will be changed, there is a big chance that McLaren will come closer to Mercedes and Red Bull Racing. It would mean that Norris suddenly has a serious chance to fight for the world title.

Rosberg has faith in the qualities of Norris

The German thinks Norris can do it, he tells us on his YouTube channel. "He had a difficult second half of the season, but in general overall, throughout the season he just had so many awesome peaks," Rosberg summed up. "Peaks of like really world championship level, exceptional."
