Lance Stroll has expressed his displeasure with Aston Martin's B specification, better known as the 'green Red Bull'. He points out that the AMR22B is so far off the pace that it cannot possibly be a copy of the RB18.

Aston Martin's revamped AMR22 has been embroiled in controversy since its unveiling for the Spanish Grand Prix, as certain parts appear to have been copied almost one-to-one from Red Bull Racing. The team denies any malicious intent.

Stroll responds witty to critical questions

Stroll and teammate Sebastian Vettel might have hoped for better results with the completely transformed AMR22, but none of the Aston Martin drivers managed to reach Q2 in qualifying. The ultimate proof that it's not a copy of the RB18, according to the Canadian's witty assessment.

"We'd be two seconds faster if it was a copy," jokes the Aston Martin driver according to The Race. "I hope we missed something, because at the last race we were in Q3 and now we're out in Q1. We're miles off the pace."
