Lewis Hamilton still ended up grabbing P5 in the Spanish Grand Prix. Tom Coronel singles out the race of the seven-time world champion as the "moment of the race" and says that every driver should still take the Mercedes driver into account.

Hamilton is having a poor season start for the first time in years. Largely, that has to do with the W13 not being fast and suffering greatly from bumpiness due to porpoising. In Spain things went a lot better, but an early crash with Kevin Magnussen threw a spanner in the works. At Viaplay, Coronel says he was impressed with Hamilton's overtaking race.

Coronel unexpectedly positive about Hamilton

"It has everything to do with him being teased a bit here and there. Especially towards Russell who is in front every time. You have to remember that this is the 'all time best'. He's got all the records to his name, races won, pole positions, except for that eighth world title." That eighth title will in all likelihood not come this year. But the Dutch driver does warn about the Brit.

"I can see him struggling a bit then. I really respect what he does, because he doesn't have to do this anymore. I see he has a certain drive. When I see how he actually wanted to stop that race and then still grab this result, I think, 'Mama mia, watch out! You shouldn't underestimate this guy."
