Qualifying went reasonably smoothly by the standards normally applicable to Monaco. Nevertheless, the session was flagged off thirty seconds before time due to three crashes. Charles Leclerc again ran away with the pole position after red. Here is the full result of the qualifying session.

Ferrari beats Red Bull Racing

Although Perez parked his car in the wall just before the tunnel, he is still among the top three. The crash blocked his teammate Max Verstappen from improving his time. Ferrari beat Red Bull Racing with both cars partly because of that.
