Constructors' World Championship after Silverstone | Ferrari close in
The British Grand Prix has again caused little change in the Constructors' Championship. Red Bull Racing is still on top, followed by Ferrari and Mercedes. However, the Italians are slowly catching up with their rivals.
Haas is the only team to gain a place in the championship. With the double points finish of Mick Schumacher and Kevin Magnussen, the team overtakes Aston Martin for eighth place.
Where the difference after Canada was still 76 points, that has now shrunk to 63 points. Sergio Perez raced to P2 after an intense battle with Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, but Max Verstappen was restricted to P7 after damage to his car. As a result, the team loses important points.
