Formula One's sole French team Alpine became the fourth team to confirm their launch plans at the start of the New Year with the team set to reveal their 2023 car in London.

Alpine F1 Team made its debut at the start of the 2021 season after the Renault Group had decided to rebrand its F1 entry to promote its sports car brand, Alpine.

The Anglo-French outfit has now confirmed that they will unveil their A523 challenger on February 16 in London. It makes Alpine the fourth team to confirm its launch date ahead of the new season, following AlphaTauri (11 February), Aston Martin (13 February) and Ferrari (14 February).

Following Fernando Alonso’s switch to Aston Martin, Alpine will field an all-French line-up this season with Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly at the wheel. Despite reliability struggles, the team ended the previous season on a high by beating McLaren to fourth place in the Constructors’ Standings. The technical gremlins mainly revolved around the “auxiliary” components of the power unit which the Viry based engine facility aims to fully solve for the upcoming season with tweaks to the water pump.

Elsewhere, F1’s only American outfit Haas have revealed an updated team logo and new official team name ahead of the 2023 Formula 1 season. The team from Kannapolis announced a new partnership during the 2022 United States Grand Prix with payment company MoneyGram joining forces with Haas as their new title sponsor.

The team which is now officially called MoneyGram Haas F1 Team have now unveiled their new logo across its social and online platforms.

Commenting on the new partnership, Team Principal Guenther Steiner said: “We’re delighted we’ve hit January and will now officially be known as MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. When we announced MoneyGram’s title partnership with us back in October at the United States Grand Prix, this was the date we looked forward to as it’s a new year and a new name for us, complete with a new logo to launch. We have an exciting few weeks ahead with the livery reveal and then the launch of this year’s car, the VF-23, coming soon.

“After that we’re into pre-season testing then the season begins in earnest in Bahrain. Everyone at MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is raring to go alongside our new driver line-up of Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hülkenberg. I know MoneyGram’s partnership and activation around the team will appeal to their existing customer base while offering truly global opportunities to reach out to new customers through the Formula 1 season,” Steiner concluded.
