Leclerc drives Schumacher's iconic Ferrari in Abu Dhabi

Charles Leclerc has had a special day. He got the chance to drive the 2003 Ferrari F2003-GA, which Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello raced in during the Italian racing stable's heyday.

The Ferrari driver himself posted on-board footage showing him roaring around the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi in the iconic car. The sound of the howling V10 will evoke nostalgic feelings for many.

Schumacher and Barrichello drove twelve Grands Prix with the F2003-GA, before changing to the F2002B for the last four races. In those 12 races, the car accounted for five pole positions, seven wins and 13 podium finishes. Schumacher captured his sixth world title in 2003 and, together with his teammate, also helped Ferrari to the constructors' title.
