Magnussen to make NASCAR Cup debut in San Diego

Jun.4 Kevin Magnussen will make his NASCAR Cup Series debut later this month after being confirmed for Trackhouse Racing's special Project 91 entry in San Diego. The former Formula 1 driver and current World Endurance Championship competitor will drive the No. 91 Chevrolet in the inaugural NASCAR Cup Series race at Naval Base Coronado on June 21. The event will mark Magnussen's first NASCAR Cup start. 'I'm incredibly excited and honoured to have the opportunity to compete in NASCAR,' said the Dane.
