Tech F1i: Ferrari targets Mercedes with major Barcelona upgrades

Ferrari have arrived at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix weekend with the most extensive upgrade programme on the grid, signaling a renewed push to close the gap to Mercedes after displaying a fluctuating form in the early part of the 2026 season. While rivals have opted for more targeted adjustments at one of Formula 1’s most data-rich circuits, the Scuderia have introduced a broad aerodynamic overhaul of the SF-26, headlined by a significantly revised front-end package and a series of coordinated floor and bodywork developments.
