Virgin to launch car at BBC TV centre
Marussia Virgin Racing will be launching its 2011 car at the BBC television centre in London, it has been confirmed, as the Russian car manufacturer buys into the Sheffield-based outfit to result in the name change. For its second term in Formula 1, the John Booth-run squad will be retaining Germany’s Timo Glock although Belgian Jérôme d’Ambrosio - who drove in four Friday practice sessions towards the end of last season - replaces Lucas di Grassi by stepping up from GP2. As confirmed previously, the presentation will be held on Monday 7 February.
