Problems delay HRT debut

HRT will have to wait until the final pre-season test in Barcelona to roll out their 2012 car after it failed to pass all the required crash tests. Under new rules set out by Formula One's governing body the FIA, each car must pass the crash tests before they are allowed to run on track. HRT said on their Twitter page that the car had passed 14 tests but failed two "by a minor margin" which means they will again have to use 2011 car at the second winter test in Barcelona later this month.
