Petrov in from the cold
Vitaly Petrov told Sky Sports News he has endured a long winter but is delighted to finally be in from the cold after landing a seat at Caterham. The Russian had been linked with the team for some time and that much was confirmed on Friday with the news that he has replaced Jarno Trulli.
As such, Petrov is the last confirmed driver for the start of the new Formula 1 season and has just one month to familiarise himself with his new surroundings before the first race in Melbourne.
"The winter was quite difficult for me," the 27-year-old admitted. "It was a long winter - I was waiting three months before announcing what I will do in the future. Now I am much more happy."...
