Massa: Ferrari need mileage
Felipe Massa has said it is vital that Ferrari put as much mileage on the F2012 as possible in the second pre-season test at Barcelona next week. The Scuderia's 2012 car, which is seen as a departure in terms of its design, had a subdued debut in the first test at Jerez, despite Fernando Alonso setting the quickest time on the final day of running.
Alonso, however, also completed the fewest number of laps. Although the problems Ferrari encountered were not major - the F2012 never broke down on track for example - their relative lack of running is something Massa hopes to address at the Circuit de Catalunya.
