Sebastian Vettel takes his first pole since 2011

Sebastian Vettel waited until his last lap to put his Red Bull on pole for the first time this season. Vettel has been out-qualified by his team-mate Mark Webber in the first three races of the year. It looked like it was going to business as usual but the German managed to slot in just ahead of him. After losing his pole position, Lewis Hamilton looked determined to get it back. The McLaren driver made a small error and could only manage to split the two Red Bulls. Jenson Button was the last of the front runners left on track, but he decided to settle for fourth.
