2012 Spanish GP: Hamilton and that 31 lap stint!

The Spanish GP offered a more exciting race than expected, although the tradition of the winner starting on the front row continued when Pastor Maldonado won from pole. Maldonado drove a great race and didn’t give into pressure from Fernando Alonso (despite losing out to him at the start) and there were many moves up and down the field which were exciting, however, my race highlight is Lewis Hamilton’s finishing position.  McLaren have not been having the best time of late and Hamilton being sent to the back of the grid after qualifying was a disappointment.
