110,000 line Dublin streets for F1 demonstration

An expectant crowd of 110,000 people braved the elements in Dublin city on Sunday afternoon to witness the first F1 demonstration on the streets of the Irish capital under gloomy skies. The inaugural running of Bavaria City Racing Dublin was dubbed a phenomenal success, after organisers exceeded initial targets of 100,000 spectators. 2009 world champion Jenson Button was the star attraction at the wheel of his 2010 McLaren, but the event also featured over 70 other cars and bikes, including Caterham reserve driver Giedo van der Garde who was driving his team's 2010 car.
