FIA drives F1 cost control
The governing body says that it is ongoing dicsussions with teams on matter that need to be voted through before the end of the month, which is the latest date that changes can impact on the 2013 regulations with majority as against unanimous support.
"At their request, the FIA is having active discussions with teams regarding cost control," said the governing body, "and any amendments to the technical regulations resulting from a further limit on expenditure on the chassis will be submitted to the WMSC via a fax vote before June 30. The intention is to help all teams participate in the championship in a fair and equal manner."
