Alonso/Vettel pairing could work at Ferrari
Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali and Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone both believe Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel could co-exist together as team-mates. The pair were talking about a number of subjects in an interview with Sport Bild and Auto Bild when the pairing of Alonso with Vettel at Ferrari cropped up. Both men believe such a scenario could work, but Ecclestone says it's too early for the German to move to the Italian outfit. "Seriously, all drivers want to drive for Ferrari at least once in their career, don't they?," said the 81-year-old. "I wouldn't advise him to [go just yet], as he's still too young!
