Austin circuit encouraged by recent progress

Circuit of The Americas workers are well on schedule ahead of the venue's maiden Grand Prix later this year, with track President Steve Sexton stating that the progress being made is surpassing everybody's expectations. In addition, FIA Race Director Charlie Whiting was said to be 'very pleased' following a recent visit to the Austin site. 'We're in the time of year now where we've a lot of daylight and no rain, and so we're making more progress than we even thought we'd make,' Sexton told Reuters. 'We're on schedule to be complete.
