German grid penalty for Grosjean

Romain Grosjean will start the German GP five places back from where he qualifies as his Lotus E20 needs a new gearbox. The Lotus driver reportedly suffered a gearbox problem in the final laps of the British GP, prompting a need for his team to change it. However, the change means the Frenchman will drop five places on the Hockenheim grid as it's an automatic penalty. The team's Technical Director James Ellison confirmed that the problem would necessitate a change, but does not expect it to have a major impact on Grosjean's weekend. "It was a gearbox problem and we are very fortunate that Romain didn't have the problem earlier in the race," said tech director James Allison....
