Rosberg handed grid penalty

Nico Rosberg will take a five place grid penalty for the German Grand Prix after Mercedes elected to carry out a precautionary gearbox change ahead of the Hockenheim weekend.The German made a solid start to the weekend in Friday practice, setting the seventh quickest time after two 90 minute sessions hit by mixed weather conditions.Despite the fact he now has the penalty hanging over him ahead of Saturday's qualifying session, Rosberg said he felt confident about his chances for the weekend ahead having run well in the differing conditions that kick-started his home event."We learned a lot today as we were able to test in the different track conditions, and use the wet, intermediate...
