Sauber silent on Volkswagen rumours
Despite multiple media reports over the weekend at Hockenheim, Peter Sauber was refusing to be drawn about the renewed rumours that he was in talks with German car giant Volkswagen about a possible future partnership in F1, potentially under the Audi marque.The reports - from the Swiss-based German language newspaper Blick - said that a possible go-between in discussions between Sauber and Volkswagen was former Mercedes chief Jurgen Hubbert, a longtime friend of Peter Sauber's, and that there had been a meeting held between Sauber and the head of Volkswagen at a motor show in Switzerland back in March."At the Geneva Motor Show, we met with VW CEO Martin Winterkorn," Blick...
