Woeful qualifying for Mercedes drivers
Mercedes had a difficult and a disappointing qualifying session for the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday with both its drivers failing to proceed to the final shootout. Nico Rosberg’s outing was compromised as he was focussed on a race set-up, which meant he was eliminated in Q2 and will start 13th. Teammate Michael Schumacher had it even tougher confessing that there was nothing more that he could have done after he qualified further down in 17th. “I could have done a faster lap probably, without the dust having been brought to the track by (Pastor) Maldonado, but then I still do not think it would have brought me into Q3,” the seven-time world champion said. “You...
