Lotus may postpone introducing DDRS

Lotus may not use its double DRS system at the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday after it was unable to test the update adequately during practice. The two sessions which ran on Friday were interrupted by rain which meant that the British team could not configure the device adequately on the car due to limited running on a treacherous and wet Spa-Francorchamps circuit. “The forecast for the next two days is for dry and warmer weather so running (on Friday) was not very useful in terms of preparing for qualifying or the race,” said technical director James Allison. “The rain also prevented us from seeing how the ‘Device’ would perform in the expected race...
