Gillan left wanting more

By Editor on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 Williams Chief Operations Engineer Mark Gillan has said that the Grove based team was hoping for more from the Italian Grand Prix. Bruno Senna picked up a point courtesy of tenth place as the team spent the bulk of the 53 lap encounter on the fringes of the top ten. 'Overall our ultimate pace was not quite as strong as we have seen in some races but it was good to see both drivers pushing hard throughout the race', he said. Gillan also confirmed that Williams, like other teams, suffered from excessive tyre wear on the inside shoulder of the Pirellis.
