Gearbox penalty for De la Rosa
Pedro de la Rosa is set to drop five places on the grid for Sunday’s race in Singapore after HRT opted to change the gearbox on his car at Marina Bay. Gearboxes are required to last five consecutive Grands Prix.De la Rosa, who finished the last round in Monza in 18th place, was 23rd fastest in Friday’s second practice session and will now almost certainly start from the back of the grid.The veteran Spaniard is currently the only driver with a Singapore grid penalty.For tickets and travel to 2012 FORMULA 1 races, click here.For FORMULA 1 and F1 team merchandise, click here.
