FIA Release 2013 Formula 1 Calendar
The FIA have releasead the calendar for the 2013 Formula 1 season following a meeting of its World Motor Sport Council on Friday.
Like this season, there will be 20 races in 2013. The European Grand Prix in Valencia has been dropped from schedule and will be replaced by a grand prix around the streets of New Jersey.
The new calendar features six back-to-back race weekends – one fewer than this season – and only a four-week summer break, which is one week shorter than in 2012.
The British Grand Prix has been moved back one week from its usual slot, and will take place on 30th June.
