Petrov escapes rear wing failure in Japan
Vitaly Petrov has said Caterham will have to take a 'close look' at his rear wing after it apparently failed at the end of second practice for this Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix.Petrov was just about to complete his day's work, when the incident occurred at the end of the main straight, sending the Russian's CT01 into the gravel trap. While he fortunately escaped unharmed, the implications could have been a lot more serious.Despite that scare though, he was still happy with his day and in the end he finished up 20th overall on the combined times, only a tenth or so off the sister car of Heikki Kovalainen.“On the final lap in the afternoon session I went off in turn one after a problem...
