Vettel reprimanded for Alonso incident
Suzuka pole-sitter Sebastian Vettel has received an official reprimand from stewards for allegedly holding up Fernando Alonso in qualifying on Saturday. Shortly after the Red Bull driver claimed his fourth pole position of the season, it was revealed that the German was under investigation by FIA-appointed stewards including former Formula 1 driver Derek Warwick. Both Vettel and Alonso, plus a representative of each team, were summoned before the stewards and asked to explain their version of events. Elsewhere, Jean-Éric Vergne takes a grid drop of three places after the Toro Rosso driver was adjudged to have delayed a very annoyed Bruno Senna.
