Alonso blames Räikkönen for Turn 1 clash

Fernando Alonso’s title chances suffered a major blow at Suzuka, as the Spaniard retired on the first lap while Sebastian Vettel sealed a second consecutive victory. The Ferrari spun at Turn 2, having picked up a left-rear puncture following contact with the Lotus of Kimi Raikkonen. “Well, I had no space on the right,” Alonso recalled. “I had Button on the right, I had Kimi on the left. I don’t understand why Kimi didn’t lift off.
