McLaren open to potential Hamilton return
McLaren will not be shutting the door on Lewis Hamilton should the British driver ever decide to return to the squad. Having signed for Mercedes starting next season, the 27-year-old left behind a team with which he’s been racing with since his debut but McLaren doesn’t feel betrayed by the decision and is open for a future with the 2008 world champion again. “I don't think he'll be coming back any time soon. I'm sure they've got a good contract and they will want to work with him,” team principal Martin Whitmarsh said. “I don't think Lewis' intention is to hop from team to team on an annual basis... but never say never, as they say, and we'll see what happens...
