Pastor keeping his options open
Pastor Maldonado has confirmed he is in talks with Williams about a deal for 2013, but also admits "there is a chance" he could go to another team. The Venezuelan has endured a mixed season so far, stunning the F1 world in Barcelona when he won the Spanish GP from pole before going nine races without making it into the top 10. He finally broke his scoring drought at the Japanese GP over the weekend as he came from 12th on the grid to finish eight.
Williams are yet to confirm their driver line-up for next season and Maldonado, who has entered into negotiations with the Grove-based squad, has stopped short of committing himself to the team.
