Karthikeyan given the go-ahead
7mo ago from PlanetF1.com - Narain Karthikeyan will contest Sunday's Korean GP after the stewards gave him permission despite his failure to qualify.
The HRT driver slid and spun his way out of qualifying in the first segment before so much as putting a banker lap on the board.
As a result Karthikeyan needed permission from the stewards to race and was given it based on his 'performance shown in practice.'
