Sauber sign Hülkenberg for 2013

Sauber have today announced that Nico Hülkenbergas part of their 2013 driver line-up. The 25-year-old, who won the GP2 series in 2009, is currently driving for Force India. He began his Formula 1 career at Williams in 2010, taking an unexpected pole position at Interlagos during his debut season. Despite this, Hülkenberg then spent a year on the sidelines as Force India test driver before moving up to a race seat for 2012. “We’ve been observing Nico for some time now and his performances have been very persuasive,' said Sauber team principal Monisha Kaltenborn.
