Massa expects strong race performance

Felipe Massa believes Ferrari will be strong in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix but may struggle slightly in qualifying tomorrow. While the headline lap times see Massa ending FP2 over a second slower than Sebastian Vettel, his long run pace was more encouraging, leading race engineer Rob Smedley to praise him over team radio following the session. Massa admitted that the car looked quite strong on high fuel, but that Ferrari may be less competitive during qualifying.
