Maldonado aims to challenge front row men

Pastor Maldonado will be taking no prisoners when the lights go out at the start of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, having qualified fourth behind championship leader Sebastian Vettel. Bearing in mind that the German may be cautious because of his title challenge, the Williams driver is looking to seize any opportunity which may arise. The Saturday result is Maldonado and Williams’ best since the Venezuelan qualified on the front row in Singapore - also the scene of Lewis Hamilton’s last pole position. “We have a very strong pace and we’re just very competitive,” says Maldonado, who is still yet to finish on the podium since he won the Spanish Grand Prix in May....
