Rossi understands Caterham decision about Friday

Alex Rossi is not upset that he will miss out on driving as Formula 1 heads to his home nation in the United States. Over past months, some expected the American to enjoy an outing in Friday practice, but the team is focussing on its race drivers. As Circuit of the Americas is an entirely new venue on the calendar, Caterham aims to give Heikki Kovalainen and Vitaly Petrov as much track time as possible. Giedo van der Garde will then take part in the opening session for the Brazilian Grand Prix. “Firstly, it's obviously fantastic that COTA is bringing F1 back to the US and, as I'm a real F1 fan at heart, I'm really excited about the race coming to Austin,” Rossi says....
