F1 car for Christmas?
F1 fans with a little spare cash need to hurry if they want to snap up a rarity in time to treat themselves, or a loved, one at Christmas.Honda last appeared in the top flight in 2008, before transforming into the successful – if short-lived – Brawn team, and then becoming Mercedes. Before returning as a constructor in its own right, however, the Japanese marquee was an engine supplier to BAR, so it is not often that one of its cars come up for sale.Now, though, a show car based on Jenson Button's 2003 racer has appeared on internet auction site eBay with a £25,000 price tag.
