HRT put up for sale by owners
The owners of HRT say they are in talks with a number of potential buyers to sell the Formula 1 team. Thesan Capital SL, which has owned HRT since July 2011, said in a statement Monday that 'the moment to let new investors come through for HRT Formula 1 Team has arrived.' The team is last in the drivers' championship with neither Narain Karthikeyan or Pedro de la Rosa having scored a point in 18 races this season. HRT started racing in 2010 after becoming the first Spanish team to be awarded an F1 license.
