Sky to approach Ecclestone about 3D coverage

Sky Sports will approach Bernie Ecclestone at the end of the current season with the idea of widespread 3D coverage in the not too distant future. The company currently holds the commercial rights' to broadcast the entire season live in the United Kingdom, and has already introduced several new features during its first year including HD coverage. Barney Francis, managing director of Sky Sports F1, confirmed the company's interest in expanding their 3D coverage to include F1.
